Australian Better Choices Woolgrowers

Australia-wide, more woolgrowers are making the choice to use pain relief as a post-mulesing treatment. 

The use of pain relief in livestock is already being acknowledged by the world's largest retail trade association, the US National Retail Federation. Australian woolgrowers who use pain relief as a post-mulesing procedure are eligible to market their wool under the Better Choices banner.

Registration, which is reviewed annually, entitles you to:

1. Mark your wool bales with the Better Choices logo (stencils are sent to all registered participants)
2. Select Better Choices from the registered quality schemes in the wool catalogue
3. Clearly demonstrate to wool buyers your commitment to addressing the issues raised by their customers.
