“Using pain relief at mulesing means there is definitely less mismothering. For me this means there is less lamb loss next time I bring them in. I used to lose two or three percent, but now I am having greater survival rates through to weaning. For any grower who cares about their animals from an ethical welfare point of view, I honestly believe using pain relief is the only option we have until practical alternate solutions are found.” Warrane, Superfine Merino Armidale, NSW

We care about our sheep. We mules all our merino lambs because it gives them the best protection against flystrike and crutching cuts for their lifetime. and we use tri-solfen for pain relief because the lambs heal quickly. It is one of the best things to come out of the mulesing debate. Thank you.

Very effective dressing. Lambs are less distressed and wounds heal quicker.

We continue to be very happy with the results from pain relief. Better mothering up after marking and better survival of lambs right through the healing time. We'll certainly continue to use the product.
